The apostle John wrote his gospel to help people develop a deep trust in Jesus as their personal Savior. Listen to what John wrote at the end of the book.
John 20:30 - Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe (or continue to believe) that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
These passages have lots of information in them. John wrote to an audience of deep thinkers. As you read through these passages it is recommended that you take notes while asking yourself the following question:
Question: What did these people see in Jesus that enabled them to put their faith (i.e. in the form of trust) in him?
Note: Comments will soon be added to each day's study.
